Q:How do I order? A:For instant online purchases, please use the shopping cart buttons assigned to the items in the listings. You will also find View Cart buttons at the bottom of every page.
When you are finished shopping, select the "Secure Check-out" button and follow the instructions.
For mail-in payments, please send us an email with a list of the item numbers that you wish to order. Please include the shipping zipcode or country if applicable so that we can calculate shipping cost. We will reply with a total and mailing address for payment.You will need to reply back as per your action on the order (ie cancel/hold),only then we will reserve the items for you, for 10 days only. You will need to promptly mail in the payment.
Please be sure that your email spam filter is set to allow email from us or we cannot answer you.
Q:Can I order by Telephone? A:No, we do not take orders by telephone. Please submit all orders by email or shopping cart.
Why not by phone? A:We have a very small staff and if you can imagine, 100s of calls per day, mostly people wanting to sell to us, or needing an appraisal, or international callers speaking in a variety of languages. Secondly, we have many thousands of items in our stock and it is difficult to instantly answer questions about every given item. Email allows us time to manage all of this.
Thirdly, credit card purchases by telephone are especially risky, there is just no way to verify who is calling.
Q:When will my order be Shipped? A:At This time we are shipping Twice a week,but maybe changed to Once a week as gas prices increase.Please contact if you have a date you need your order by,we will try and accommodate.
Q:Security Risks? A:You are never asked for financial information until the very final stage of checkout and that is done on a secure server. Our listings and photos are open to all for browsing but that does not in any way endanger you.
Q:Privacy Concerns? A:None here, we do not collect information and never share data with anyone.
We do not send out spam nor do we ever sell mailing lists to anyone. Whatever information we obtain is strictly used internally in order to pack and ship orders.
We do have logs for visitors to our website, IP numbers are recorded but this is all for statistical analysis and the information is deleted after review.
Q:Can you help me price items that I have for sale? A:No, please do not ask us to do this, we are not in the business of appraising items.Try an online appraisal service such as the self-help listings at Kovels Online. You will find links to order many excellent value guides throughout our site in appropriate places. We recommend these books, we use them ourselves in order to set our prices. In most cases our links will take you to an area where you can find detailed information and order through our association with Amazon. You will almost always find substantial discounts and the books will be helpful to you again and again.
Q:Do you buy things? A:NO,we do most of our buying at local auctions and sales and often in large lots so that we can keep our prices affordable. We do some very selective purchasing online but we do not make offers and need a detailed list of items along with prices in order to consider the purchase.
Q:Are your items new? A:We have some new items and also many second hand items. Generally, we note in the listing when an item is new or mint in package. If not so noted, the item is most likely second hand. Many of the items that we sell are older collectibles and are not available anywhere brand new. We do strive to find items that are in excellent if not near mint condition and generally will advise if an item has any special characteristics or any problems. We also offer a 2-week return policy if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase.
Q.Do you have a Catalog? A:NO we do not offer a printed catalog. We are dealing with collectible items on an item by item basis. Our stock is constantly changing and a printed catalog would be obsolete before it could be distributed. We recommend that you visit the website regularly for changes and updates to our listings. Also, bookmark particular pages that are of interest.

Q:Do you do trades? A:No, we are running a business and need to keep accurate records of purchases and sales along with accurate inventory tracking. Unfortunately, trading makes this task far too complicated and time-consuming.
Q:How long will you hold an item for me? A:We hold items for up to 10 days from the time of order confirmation. We do allow extra time for international orders and also when a customer requests additional time, within reason.
Q:If I order an item will it be marked "Sale Pending" on the website? A:Not necessarily, we may have more than one of a given item on hand. In this case it will not be marked.
Q: What happens with the items I request? A: We set the items aside for you until your payment arrives. We will pack the items and label the parcel so that it is ready to go when your payment arrives.
Q:Do I need to reserve the Item? A: Yes please email us with your confirmation that you agree to the list of the items you asked about and that the total amount is agreeable.Don't just send a payment and assume we will have the item available for you.If you don't return a email confirmation within 24 hrs,we will assume that you decided not to order and the items will be available to other customers.
Q:What will happen after 10 days and I do not get my payment in. A: We will assume that you changed your mind and relist the item for sale. If and when your payment arrives, we will return your payment or ship the order if the item is still available. dx
Q:Can you send a photo of the item that I am ordering? A:Yes, in most cases we can do this by email attachment or in some circumstances we can upload a photo to the website and provide you with a link to view it on your browser. We do not send out photos through the postal mail. Please first check the item
description, there may already be a photo online and it will generally show a link by Photo or an camera icon
in either case you should double click your mouse button to pull up the photo. Click your browser return button to go back to the page after viewing.
Note: If you come across any photo links that are not working, please drop us an email and report it so that we can fix the problem.
Q:I am new to the net, can you help me to order? A:Yes, please just email us and let us know which item or items you are interested in. We will answer any questions that you may have and work with you.
Q:Can I just ask a question without ordering? A: Yes, we will correspond with you and try to answer your questions. Asking questions does not obligate you in any way.
Q:Do you answer all of your mail? A: We try to answer all of our email, if you do not get a reply within a day, please resend the email as sometimes email can get lost in the system or we may be having problems replying to your email address, check your spam filters.

Q:How often do you update your listings? A: We spend a few hours every day updating the listings and otherwise working on the website. We have many pages and try our best to keep the listings current but it is always important to email us and give us a chance to double check availability.
Q:Email Difficulties? A: AOL,Earthlink,Yahoo Users and certain others where applicable, please check your email options and be sure that you have enabled your email program to receive mail. On occaision we try to reply to inquiries and get 550 errors or returned email because of this.
Abreviations and Terminology
C-1 through C-10 This is the basic quality scale for collectibles and is simply a 1 to 10 scale with ten
being best or in absolutely mint condition, often factory sealed.
C-9 therefore is mint condition but opened package or loose.
C-8 represents near mint condition and suggests minor wear or perhaps very light scratching or fading.
C-7 represents excellent over-all condition but perhaps a scratch or small dent, in most cases we
will make a small notation of this within the item description.
C-6 and below represents serious marking or scratches or other damage. We very rarely offer items
at or below this level. However we do occaisionally come across items that can be repaired or saved and try to make them available to people who repair collectibles as a hobby. These will always be described accordingly.
HH represents Holly Hobbie, a line of dolls and figurines from the 70's and 80's.
LBT represents Land Before Time
MIB represents Mint in Box
MIP represents Mint in Package
MLP represents My Little Pony, a line of toy fashion ponies from the 80's and 90's
MOC represents Mint on Card
NRFB represents Never Removed from Box or still factory sealed.
PM represents Precious Moments, a line of figurines and dolls.
PVC represents Poly Vinylchloride, a hard compound used to mold action figures. It has very similar properties as pvc pipe used in plumbing. Basically it is very light weight and durable and very cost effective in the molding process.
